Keto, made from real food.
Seventy ketogenic recipes built on eggs, fish, meat, vegetables, butter and cream. Every recipe has its net carbs, protein, fat and calories worked out per serving, so you can plan a day without an app.
No keto bars, no sweetener baking, no packets. Everything comes from an ordinary supermarket.
Six chapters. Seventy recipes.
Breakfasts
Eleven breakfasts, from baked eggs and omelettes to chia pudding and egg muffins you bake once for the whole week.
Lunches and salads
Twelve lunches that travel: Caesar with parmesan crisps, Niçoise without potatoes, soups that freeze.
Dinners
Twenty dinners, from fifteen-minute pans to slow Sunday roasts. Butter chicken, chilli, moussaka, pork belly with crackling.
Sides
Nine vegetable sides that take the place of rice, potatoes and pasta on the plate.
Basics
Mayonnaise, pesto, dressings, bone broth, seeded crackers and cheese flatbreads: the things that hide the most sugar in the shop.
Snacks and something sweet
Chocolate mousse, lemon cheesecake pots, coconut panna cotta and spiced nuts, made without sugar or "keto" sweeteners.
The numbers, done for you.
Every recipe has 10 g of net carbs or less per serving. Three meals and a snack from the book usually come to 15 to 25 g a day, and the seven-day plan shows exactly how.

What you will not find here.
Keto bars and shakes. Most are protein isolates, isolated fibres and polyols. Real food gives you the same protein with the rest of the food attached.
Sweetener baking. The sweet recipes rely on berries, dark chocolate, cream, coconut and nuts.
Factory flour substitutes. When a recipe needs something bread-like, it is made from cheese, eggs, ground almonds or seeds.

Before you buy.
Do I need The Clean Plate Method first?
No. The keto book stands on its own. The main guide explains labels, ultra-processed food and the research behind eating fewer carbohydrates; the keto book is the recipes.
How are the nutrition figures worked out?
From the weight of every ingredient, using standard food composition tables (USDA FoodData Central and the UK's CoFID). They are careful estimates; brands and portion sizes vary.
Do I need special products?
No. Everything comes from a normal supermarket. The only things you might not have are ground almonds, chia seeds and 85 % dark chocolate.
Can my family eat it?
Yes, the recipes suit everyone. The keto guidance is written for adults; children and teenagers need more carbohydrate and energy.
Is keto safe for me?
If you have diabetes, take medication for blood sugar or blood pressure, have kidney disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of an eating disorder, talk to your doctor before you start.
What format is it?
A PDF that works on phone, tablet and computer. You are welcome to print pages for your kitchen.
